The Mindy Project has lost its UK broadcaster. E4, who originally acquired the Fox turned Hulu comedy in 2012 in a multi-season deal with international distributor NBCUniversal International Distribution, has opted not to pick up the any further seasons of the Mindy Kaling fronted series, TVWise has confirmed. The channel aired the first three seasons between 2013 and 2015. 
The Mindy Project's time on Fox has come to an end. The network has cancelled the Universal Television produced comedy created by and starring The Office's Mindy Kaling after three seasons. That being said, Fox decision to cancel the comedy may not spell the end for The Mindy Project. Hulu is understood to be in talks with Universal Television to pick up The Mindy Project for a further two seasons, bringing it past the 100 episodes needed for syndication. Fox has ordered a further six episodes of 'The Mindy Project', bringing its third season order to 21 episodes, up from the 15 that were ordered back in May 2014,
