Emily Bett Rickards Exits The CW’s ‘Arrow’ Ahead Of Season 8

Arrow is losing a core cast member as it heads into its final season. Emily Bett Rickards, who has played Felicity Smoak since the show's first season in 2012, is exiting the series ahead of season eight. Rickards herself announced her exit in a post on Instagram. "Felicity and I are a very tight two, but after one through seven, we will be saying goodbye to you", the post reads.

The CW’s ‘Supernatural’ To End With Season 15

It's the end of the road for Supernatural. The long-running drama series will wrap its run with it's upcoming fifteenth season, which is set to premiere later this year. The announcement that season fifteen was to be the show's last was made by series stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins on social media on Friday.

The CW Renews ‘The Outpost’ For Second Season

The CW has handed out a second season renewal to fantasy series The Outpost, which hails from Dean Devlin and his independent production company Electric Entertainment. The show's second season is expected to premiere in 2019. Through a wide-ranging multi-territory deal between NBCUniversal International Networks and Electric Entertainment, SYFY UK holds first window rights to The Outpost. It has been a ratings success for the genre channel, with episodes averaging a consolidated average audience of just under 200k viewers.

The CW Cancels ‘Frequency’ After One Season

Netflix UK's import Frequency has been cancelled by U.S. network The CW after a single thirteen episode season, TVWise has learned. Alongside Frequency, The CW also pulled the plug on No Tomorrow - which does not yet have a UK home (and is now unlikely to find one).

Getting the nod for next season is Arrow (season six), The Flash (season four), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (season three), Supernatural (season thirteen!), Jane The Virgin (season four), Supergirl (season three) and DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow (season three).

‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ & ‘iZombie’ Get Partial Back-Orders At The CW

The CW is extending the run of two of their newer shows. The network has handed out partial back-orders to freshman comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and comic book drama iZombie, which is now in its second season. Crazy Ex Girlfriend has received a 5 episode back-order, while iZombie has been picked up for an additional six episodes.

The CW’s ‘Beauty & The Beast’ To End Run With Fourth Season

Beauty & The Beast (FT)Beauty & The Beast is coming to an end. The CW has announced that the genre series starring Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan is to end its run with the recently ordered 13 episode fourth season. It is not immediately clear if the fourth season, which The CW picked up before season three had even started airing, will air midseason or Summer 2016.
