ABC has found the male lead for The Catch. Damon Dayoub (The Protector) has been tapped to play the male lead opposite The Killing star Mireille Enos in the hour-long drama pilot from Shonda Rhimes' production banner Shondaland and ABC Studios.

Mireille Enos is returning to television. The former star of AMC's The Killing has been tapped to play the lead in The Catch, ABC's hour-long drama pilot from Hannibal‘s Jennifer Schur and Scandal & How To Get Away With Murder production company Shondaland, TVWise has learned.

ABC is adding to their pilot pickups with two dramas and two comedies. All from the network's sister studio ABC Studios, the four projects that scored pilot pickups on Monday night were: The Catch, an hour-long drama from Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder producers Shondaland; an untitled comedy from LGBT activist Dan Savage; hour-long drama Broad Squad, from The OC's Josh Schwartz; and the Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo fronted comedy Chev & Bev.
