Parenthood star Peter Krause has been set at the male lead in The Catch, ABC's upcoming Mireille Enos fronted drama series from ABC Studios, Shonda Rhimes and her production company Shondaland. He will play Kieran Booth, a successful, longtime con man who lives the good life with other people's money. But has he met his match with his latest mark, Alice? Krause replaces Damon Dayoub, who played the role in the pilot.
ABC is making some big changes to Shonda Rhimes newest drama series The Catch. Male lead Damon Dayoub (The Protector) and co-star Bethany Joy Lenz (One Tree Hill) are exiting the Mireille Enos fronted thriller as the network looks to re-cast the roles played by both actors.

The network, who are now starting to make calls on renewals and cancellations, has picked up their pilots The Catch, The Muppets, Quantico, Untitled Pate & Fishburne Project (formerly known as Boom), Dr Ken, Wicked City, The Real O'Neals, Of Kings And Prophets and The Family to series.
