ITV is adding to the cast of The Bay. Joe Absolom, James Cosmo, Stephen Tomkinson, Sharon Small, Sunetra Sarker, Owen McDonnell, Steven Robertson, Amy James-Kelly, Kerrie Taylor, Wendy Kweh, Julia Haworth and Jack Archer have joined the Morven Christie fronted series for its second season.

The Bay is set in the unique coastal town of Morecambe and follows Detective Sergeant Lisa Armstrong, who is assigned to a missing persons investigation in Morecambe. As a police Family Liaison Officer, she’s trained never to get emotionally involved. Her job is to support families during the worst time of their lives whilst also to be the eyes and ears of the police investigation; a cuckoo in the nest.
Morven Christie (The A Word, Hunted) has been set as the lead in The Bay, ITV's six episode police drama series which hails from Tall Story Pictures, award-winning writer Daragh Carville and Richard Clark.
