The fifth season of FX's cold war spy drama The Americans will receive its UK premiere on ITV Encore on Monday June 12th at 10pm, it has been announced.

FX has handed out a two season renewal to their critically acclaimed Cold War spy drama The Americans, TVWise has learned. The network has ordered thirteen episodes for season five, and a further ten episodes for the sixth season, which will be the show's last. Season five will debut on FX in 2017, with the final season following in 2018.
