NBC To Sample ‘Telenovela’ & ‘Superstore’ Behind ‘The Voice’ Ahead Of January Premieres
NBC is giving their new mid-season comedies Telenovela and Superstore a sizeable launching pad. The network has announced that both series will air back-to-back episode behind ratings juggernaut The Voice later this year before settling into the regular time-slots in January. 
NBC is trimming down two of their midseason comedies. The network has cut the orders for both Superstore and Hot & Bothered to eleven episodes, down from the thirteen episodes initially ordered when NBC picked up both series. 
Chuck alum Zachary Levi has signed on to star in the 13 episode event series 'Heroes: Reborn', the network announced at their executive panel at Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour in Pasadena, California.
