Dave’s ‘Taskmaster’ Breaks More Ratings Records In Season 7
Taskmaster is once again breaking ratings records with its recently launched seventh season. The series, fronted by Greg Davies and Alex Horne, has been reaching 1.44 milion viewers this season, up 7% from season six. The figures also make season seven the most successful to date. ABC1 viewers are up 13%, and 16-34s are up 11% on season six. 
UKTV's Dave channel has given the greenlight to Taskmaster: Champion Of Champions, a two-part special that will bring back the winners of the show's first five seasons. It will air on the channel next month. All five previous winners - Josh Widdicombe, Katherine Ryan, Noel Fielding, Rob Beckett and Bob Mortimer - will face confounding new assignments in the fight to become the ultimate Taskmaster champion. Greg Davies and Alex Horne will also return.
UKTV's Dave channel has handed out a two season renewal to breakout original series Taskmaster, featuring Greg Davies and Alex Horne. The total pick-up is for ten episodes, split across seasons two and three, which will air in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
UKTV's Dave channel has ordered Taskmaster, a new six episode entertainment series hosted by Greg Davies and Alex Horne which is being produced by indie Avalon Television.
