Syfy Greenlights Miniseries Adaptation Of Arthur C. Clarke’s ‘3001: The Final Odyssey’
Syfy has given the greenlight to 3001: The Final Odyssey, an adaptation of the Arthur C. Clarke novel of the same name which is a follow up to '2001: A Space Odyssey' and serves as the final instalment in his four-novel Odyssey series.

Emmy award nominee Charles Dance, who played Tywin Lannister on the first four seasons of HBO's 'Game of Thrones', has been tapped to star in the six-hour miniseries adaptation of the Arthur C. Clarke novel 'Childhood's End'.
Syfy is re-teaming with Stargate writers and executive producers Paul Mullie and Joseph Mallozzi for Dark Matter, a 13 episode space-opera series which is being eyed for a 2015 premiere.
Syfy has ordered a 13 episode third season of 'Defiance' and a 13 episode second season of 'Dominion'.
