The fifteenth and final season of Supernatural will receive its UK premiere on 4Music on Friday October 23rd at 9pm with a double-bill, it has been announced.

E4 is sticking with Supernatural until the end. Mere weeks after TVWise revealed that they had picked up the UK rights to season 14, the Channel 4 owned digi-net has announced that they have also secured the show's fifteenth and final season. E4 said that season 14 would air in 2020, while season 15 would follow "at a later date".

It's the end of the road for Supernatural. The long-running drama series will wrap its run with it's upcoming fifteenth season, which is set to premiere later this year. The announcement that season fifteen was to be the show's last was made by series stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins on social media on Friday.

Just as they have in previous years, The CW announced a litany of renewals for their existing scripted line-up during their executive panel at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour. Getting the nod for next season is Arrow (season six), The Flash (season four), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (season three), Supernatural (season thirteen!), Jane The Virgin (season four), Supergirl (season three) and DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow (season three).
