Sony Pictures Television Secures Format Sales For Stellify’s ‘Beauty Queen & Single’
Sony Pictures Television has lined up two European sales for Stellify Media's format Beauty Queen & Single. NPO 3/ KRO NCRV has commissioned a local adaptation in the Netherlands, while Aito Media has also optioned the format in Finland. 
Following this year's successful revival of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? to mark the show's 20th anniversary, ITV has renewed the series for a further ten episodes, once again hosted by Jeremy Clarkson. The new episodes are set to air in early 2019 and will be stripped over two weeks.
Following on from the success of In Solitary, Channel 5 has given the green-light to a celebrity edition of the series which followed four members of the public as they attempted to live in solitary confinement. Celebs In Solitary will largely retain the same format, with the members of the public being replaced by four famous faces. They will sacrifice their phones and contact with the outside world and only be allowed three ‘luxury’ items to help them pass the time and psychological tests of isolation.
The BBC has set their sights on a new Saturday night gameshow. BBC One has handed out a 10 episode series order to Can't Touch This, a new entertainment format from Kieran Doherty and Matt Worthy's Sony Pictures Television backed Stellify Media - marking the first major commission that the indie has secured from a UK broadcaster since launching last year.
