The White Princess follow up The Spanish Princess has found a UK home. StarzPlay - the streaming service that is now available on both Amazon Prime Video Channels and Virgin Media - has secured the UK rights to the limited series starring Charlotte Hope (Game Of Thrones). The Spanish Princess will premiere on StarzPlay on Sunday May 5th, when the first episode will be available to stream. New episodes will then continue to made available every Sunday - the same day that they air on Starz state-side.

StarzPlay has acquired the exclusive UK rights to Nordic thriller Rig 45 after striking a deal with international distributor ITV Studios Global Entertainment. The show's six episode first season will premiere on the streaming service on Friday February 22nd.

StarzPlay Acquires UK Rights To ‘Harlots’ Months After It Was Dropped By ITV

More than three months after TVWise broke the news that ITV would not be airing future seasons of Harlots following the closure of ITV Encore, the series has found a new UK home. StarzPlay – which is available in the UK on Amazon Prime via Amazon Channels – has secured the exclusive UK rights to the period drama after striking a deal with international distributor ITV Studios Global Entertainment. The first season, which aired on ITV Encore back in 2017, will launch on the streaming service on Friday January 18th, while the show's second season, which has never aired in the UK before, will launch on Thursday February 14th.

StarzPlay’s Launch On Virgin Media Delayed

UPDATE. November 28th: StarzPlay will be launching on Virgin Media a little later than initially planned. I'm hearing that due to technical issues, the streaming service from the U.S. premium cable network will not be launching on the Virgin Media platform tomorrow (November 29th) as originally planned. Virgin are working to remedy the issue and "ensure the best possible experience" for customers. No word yet on a revised launch date for StarzPlay.

StarzPlay Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Castle Rock’

Hulu's Stephen King series Castle Rock will receive its UK premiere on StarzPlay – which is available in the UK on Amazon Prime via Amazon Channels and is set to launch on Virgin Media next week – on Friday December 14th, it has been announced.
