Starz has found their Blackbeard. Rome alum Ray Stevenson has joined the cast of the network's pirate drama Black Sails for its upcoming 10 episode third season. He will play Edward Teach, a man better known as Blackbeard who returns to settle some unfinished business and quickly finds that a great deal has changed during his absence. 
Spartacus and Xena: Warrior Princess alum Lucy Lawless is set to co-star opposite Bruce Campbell (Burn Notice) in Starz's 10 episode series Ash vs Evil Dead, which is a follow up to the classic horror film franchise The Evil Dead. 
BBC One and Starz have released the first image from their two-hour drama The Dresser, which is being toplined by Anthony Hopkins and Ian McKellen. 
BBC One and US premium cable network Starz have rounded out their cast of the co-production The Dresser. Emily Watson, Sarah Lancashire, Vanessa Kirby, Edward Fox, Tom Brooke, John Ashton, Ian Conningham, Annalisa Rossi, Helen Bradbury, Carl Sanderson, Matthew Cottle and Martin Chamberlain have signed on for co-starring role opposite Anthony Hopkins and Ian McKellen in the two-hour drama.
