Starz has picked up their sports comedy Survivor's Remorse for a ten episode fourth season, the network announced on Wednesday. The renewal comes more than half way through the show's third season and after it has posted sizeable ratings increases compared to last season; due in no small part to a time-slot change from Saturday to Sunday nights. 
Starz is extending their relationship with 50 Cent. The premium cable network has extended their overall deal with Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson and, under this new pact, have put into development Tomorrow, Today, a super-hero drama based on an original script by the Power star and executive producer. 
Starz is closing the book on Treasure Island prequel Black Sails. The premium cable network has announced that the upcoming ten episode fourth season of the pirate drama, which is eyed for an early 2017 premiere, will be the show's last. 
Orlando Jones (Sleepy Hollow) and Demore Barnes (12 Monkeys) have joined the cast of Starz's drama series American Gods, which is based on the novel by Neil Gaiman, TVWise has learned. 
Starz has renewed their hit drama series Outlander, based on the time-bending novel series by Diana Gabaldon, for a third and fourth season, TVWise has learned. The third season will be based on the third novel in the Outlander series, titled Voyager; while season four will be based on the fourth novel, Drums Of Autumn. No formal episode orders have been set for either season three of season four, though they are both expected to consist of at least ten episodes. 
Starz's newest drama series is crossing the Atlantic. Virgin Media has closed a deal with Starz Digital - the global digital and on demand licensing arm of the US premium cable network - to acquire the exclusive UK rights to Ash Vs Evil Dead, starring Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless, TVWise has learned. The first five episodes of Ash Vs Evil Dead are now available to watch via Virgin on-demand service, while new episodes will continue to be made available to Virgin Media TV customers every Tuesday.
