Killian Scott & Sarah Greene Set As Leads In BBC One’s ‘Dublin Murders’

Killian Scott (Strike) and Sarah Greene (Penny Dreadful) have been set as the leads in Dublin Murders, BBC One's eight episode drama series which is based on the Dublin Murder Sqaud novels by Tana French. U.S. basic cable network TNT had originally been set to co-produce Dublin Murders alongside BBC One and RTÉ, but they are no longer involved and instead U.S. premium cable network Starz has boarded as the U.S. partner. TVWise has reached out to TNT for comment on their decision to exit the project.

Sky Vision Sells Lennie James & Suranne Jones Fronted ‘Save Me’ To Starz

Save Me is crossing the pond. International distributor Sky Vision has sold the Lennie James and Suranne Jones fronted drama to Starz - the U.S. premium cable network behind such shows as Outlander and The White Princess. It will premiere state-side on September 6th.

Starz Orders ‘The White Queen’ & ‘The White Princess’ Follow Up ‘The Spanish Princess’

Starz is expanding their Philippa Gregory franchise.  The U.S. premium cable network has ordered a third series - a follow up to both The White Queen and The White Princess - titled The Spanish Princess, which will tell the story of Catherine of Aragon. It will be based on Gregory's novels The Constant Princess and The King’s Curse.

Starz has renewed their limited series The Girlfriend Experience, from noted director Steven Soderbergh, for a fourteen episode second season. The announcement was made today by Starz President & CEO Chris Albrecht during the network's panel at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour.
