The seventeenth season of American Dad will receive its UK premiere on Disney+'s Star on Wednesday July 7th, it has been announced. New episodes will then continue to be released on a weekly basis. In the opening episode of the show’s Seventeenth season, titled Who Smarted?, worried that he's not smart enough for Hayley, Jeff undergoes an experimental intelligence enhancement procedure at the CIA; while Roger recruits Steve to help him harvest snake venom.

Last Man Standing is getting yet another UK home. Disney+'s Star brand has secured the SVOD rights to the Tim Allen comedy and will make the first eight seasons of the show available to stream from Wednesday July 28th. Notably, this marks the first time season 8 has aired on this side of the pond.

FOX UK is officially closing down on June 30th, with most of the channel's popular programming shifting to the Star brand on Disney+. Show;s moving to the streaming service include: The Walking Dead, The Orville, War Of The Worlds, Family Guy, American Dad and Atlanta.

Disney+'s general entertainment brand Star has acquired the UK rights to Hulu's animated series Marvel's M.O.D.O.K. after striking a deal with sister company Disney Media Distribution. The show's first season will premiere on the streaming service on Friday May 21st.

Disney+ has picked up their first ever UK original scripted series. The streamer has commissioned The Ballad Of Renegade Neil, Culprits, and Extraordinary. The Ballad Of Renegade Neil will launch on Disney+ itself, while Culprits and Extraordinary will air under the Star brand. All three series have received 8 episode orders.
