Sky’s Jon Mountague Named Head Of Comedy, Adam MacDonald Adds Sky Living To Remit

Sky (2014)After serving as Acting Head of Comedy for the past two months, Jon Mountague has been officially promoted to the post. He succeeds Lucy Lumsden, who stepped down as Sky's Head of Comedy in September. Elsewhere, Sky1 Director Adam MacDonald is getting an expanded brief as part of an executive restructure following Stuary Murphy's exit and will now add responsibility for Pick and Sky Living to his remit.

Left Bank Pictures Developing ‘Strike Back’ Feature Film

Strike Back - Season 4Despite the decision end the series with its most recent season, we might not have seen the last of Strike Back just yet. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that series producer Left Bank Pictures is in the early stages of developing a feature film based on the TV series which aired five seasons between 2010 and 2015 on Sky1 in the UK and HBO's sister channel Cinemax in the United States.

A&E Takes U.S. Rights To Sky’s ‘The Enfield Haunting’, Sets October Premiere

The Enfield Haunting is crossing the Atlantic. A+E Networks' flagship entertainment channel A&E has acquired the U.S. broadcast rights to the three-part Sky Living drama starring Timothy Spall (Harry Potter), Matthew Macfadyen (Ripper Street) and Juliet Stevenson (The Village) after striking a deal with international distributor Entertainment One. The Enfield Haunting will premiere on A&E on Friday October 9th at 10/9c
