Sky1 has closed a deal with CBS Studios International to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to CBS' upcoming 13 episode summer series Zoo, which is based on the James Patterson novel of the same name. 
The second season of TNT's drama series The Last Ship will receive its UK premiere on Sky1 on Sunday July 5th at 8pm, it has been announced. 
The fifth and final season of Strike Back (subtitled Legacy) will receive its UK premiere on Sky1 on Wednesday June 3rd at 9pm, it has been announced. 
Cinemax has announced that the ten episode final season of counter-terrorism action series Strike Back, which is a co-production with UK satcaster Sky1, will premiere on Friday July 31st at 10/9c. (Sky1 has not yet set a UK air date for the show's final run). 
Sky1 is teaming up with Stan Lee for Lucky Man, a 10 episode series which is being hailed as the comic book icon's first ever original UK drama. The Missing and Babylon star James Nesbitt is attached to star and will lead the all-star cast. 
ABC's comedy series Modern Family will return to Sky1 to finish airing its sixth season from Monday March 23rd at 8pm, with a double-bill it has been announced.
