Sky1 has acquired their first Marvel series. The satcaster's flagship channel has secured the first run UK rights to ABC's new drama series Marvel's Inhumans after striking a deal with international distributor Disney Media Distribution. The series is expected to premiere on Sky1 this Autumn.

The satcaster has renewed their Stan Lee drama series Lucky Man, starring James Nesbitt, for a third season; and ordered Bulletproof, a new police drama starring Noel Clarke and Ashley Walter. The announcements come ahead of Sky1 Director Adam MacDonald's Meet The Controller session at the Edinburgh International Television Festival.
