Jamie Bamber (The Smoke, Battlestar Galactica) is joining the cast of the Sky One and Cinemax co-production Strike Back for its upcoming seventh season. Bamber will play Colonel Alexander Coltrane, the new commanding officer of Section 20. Also joining the cast this season is Yasemin Allen (Water And Fire), who will play Katrina Zarkova - a rogue Russian operative with questionable loyalties. The join returning cast members Warren Brown (Luther), Daniel MacPherson (The Shannara Chronicles) and Alin Sumarwata (Neighbours).

Billy Zane (Titanic, Zoolander), Miranda Richardson (Stronger, Churchill), Michael Biehn (Aliens, The Terminator) and Harriet Walter (Law & Order: UK, The Crown) have joined the cast of Sky One's street racing drama series Curfew.
As part of their existing multi-million pound co-production deal, Sky One and HBO have given the green-light to Sally4Ever, a new seven episode comedy series created by and starring Julia Davis. Production on the series is already underway in London for a late 2018 premiere.
Military drama SEAL Team, which recently started airing on this side of the pond on Sky One, has scored an early second season renewal from CBS. The network also renewed the Shemar Moore fronted S.W.A.T., which does not yet have a UK home.
Special forces drama Strike Back - which is a co-production between Sky One and HBO's sister channel Cinemax - has been renewed for another season. This is the seventh season for Sky and the sixth for Cinemax (the latter of whom aired the initial season as a spin-off titled Strike Back: Origins).
