Zai Bennett is getting a promotion. The satcaster today announced that the Director of Sky Atlantic is being upped to Director of Programmes, Sky Entertainment UK and Ireland. In said post, he will take on overall leadership of the UK Entertainment team, effectively filling the post that was left vacant following the departure of Stuart Murphy late last year. 
The third season of Showtime's drama series The Affair will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Monday November 21st at 9pm, it has been announced. 
Papal drama The Young Pope will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Thursday October 27th at 9pm with a double-bill, it has been announced. 
HBO's eagerly anticipated drama series Westworld will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Tuesday October 4th at 9pm, it has been announced. 
The second season of NBC's David Duchovny fronted drama series Aquarius will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Friday September 16th at 9pm with a double-bill, it has been announced. In addition to airing the show's second season in double-bills in a regular Friday night time-slot, Sky is also making the entire season available via Sky Box Sets from September 16th. 
HBO's event series The Night Of, based on the BBC drama Criminal Justice, will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Thursday September 1st at 9pm, has been announced. In addition to airing The Night Of in a regular Thursday night 9pm time-slot for eight weeks, Sky is also making the entire series available via Sky Box Sets from September 1st. 
StudioCanal and Sky Vision - the international distribution division of Sky - have sold diamond heist drama The Last Panthers to DirecTV Latin America, TVWise has learned.
