History UK has poached first window rights to Seal Team Six drama series Six after striking a deal with sister company A+E Networks. Channel 5 previously held first window rights to the show and aired the first season earlier this year on their 5Spike channel. Representatives of Channel 5 did not immediately respond to TVWise's request for comment. The second season of Six will receive its UK premiere on History UK on Friday August 3rd at 9pm. Six is getting a second UK home. History UK has secured second window rights to the SEAL Team drama starring Walton Goggins (Justified, The Shield) after striking an agreement with international distributor A+E Networks. This deal has no impact on the prior licensing agreement between Channel 5 and A+E Networks. C5's 5Spike retains first window rights to Six and are expected to air the show's second season later this year. 5Spike (formerly known simply as Spike) has picked up the UK rights to History's SEAL Team drama series Six after striking a deal with international distributor A+E Networks. The eight episode first season is set to premiere on the channel in early 2018.
