ITV Cancels ‘Wild Bill’ After One Season
It's one and done for Wild Bill. ITV has cancelled the Rob Lowe fronted series after a single six episode season, TVWise has confirmed. The series wrapped its run on the channel back in July 2019. BBC Radio Lincolnshire were the first to report the news. 
BBC One has handed out a four episode order to You Are What You Wear, a fashion makeover series fronted by Rylan Clark-Neal. “I'm thrilled to be fronting a new series on BBC One, and can't wait to help people from all walks of life find their sense of style and be proud of what they see when they look in the mirror", Rylan said.
ITV has released the trailer for their Rob Lowe fronted police drama Wild Bill, which is set to premiere next month. Wild Bill follows high-flying US cop Bill Hixon, who is appointed Chief Constable of the East Lincolnshire Police Force. When he lands in Boston, Lincolnshire, with his 14 year-old daughter Kelsey in tow, he’s hoping they can flee their painful recent past. But this unfamiliar, unimpressed community will force Bill to question everything about himself and leave him asking whether it’s Boston that needs Bill, or Bill that needs Boston?
Rachael Stirling (The Bletchley Circle, Detectorists), Angela Griffin (Ordinary Lies, Brief Encounters), Tony Pitts (Peaky Blinders, Line Of Duty) and Bronwyn James (Harlots, The ABC Murders) have joined the cast of ITV's Rob Lowe (The West Wing) fronted police drama Wild Bill. 
ITV Studios' label Shiver has hired Channel 4 Commissioning Editor Simone Haywood to serve as their Head of Factual Entertainment. In the newly created role, Haywood will work with Group Creative Director Ana De Moraes and her new development team to create returnable formats that have the potential to inspire viewers across the globe.
BBC Two has given the green-light to Britain's Best Junior Doctors, a five episode medical quiz show that will be hosted by Jo Brand and feature Dr Helen Lawal as the in-house medical expert.
