Richie Campbell (Top Boy), Rakie Ayola (Noughts + Crosses), Laura Elphinstone (Chernobyl), Amaka Okafor (Vera), Brad Morrison (National Theatre Live; Twelfth Night), Rebecca Scrogs (Alex Rider) and Alexander Cobb (Doctors) have been tapped to star opposite John Simm (Prey) in ITV's Peter James adaptation Grace. 
Meet The Richardsons is coming back. UKTV's Dave channel has renewed the Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont fronted comedy series for an eight episode second season. Two Christmas specials have also been commissioned. 
ITV has ordered Grace, an adaptation of Peter James' Roy Grace novels that hails from Endeavour creator Russell Lewis. Two feature-length episodes have been commissioned for the show's first season. John Simm (Prey, Code Of A Killer) is attached to star as Roy Grace. 
UKTV is expanding their slate of originals. The commercial broadcaster has commissioned a new scripted comedy starring Jon Richardson for Dave, Death On The Tyne sequel Dial M For Middlesbrough for Gold, and a new eight episode Dave Gorman series for Dave.
