Fox has ordered three additional scripts for Wednesday night procedural Rosewood, which has turned out to be a surprise hit for the network. Despite receiving only a fraction of the marketing budget and ad buy that went to "more marketable" shows like the certain-to-be-cancelled Minority Report, Rosewood has been pulling in strong ratings in its time-slot, thanks in large part to ins lead-in, ratings juggernaut Empire.

With only days before their Upfront presentation, Fox has handed out their first series orders. The network has picked up comedy pilot The Grinder, starring Rob Lowe; and procedural drama Rosewood to series. Perhaps unsurprisingly as these were the first orders for the network, both hail from sister studio 20th Century Fox Television.

Fox has handed out pilot orders to a US remake of BBC One's 'Luther'; 'Frankenstein', from Homeland and 24 executive producer Howard Gordon; 'Rosewood', a crime drama from Psych's Todd Harthan; and '48 Hours 'Til Monday, a comedy which hails from Universal Television.
