Fresh off of news that Shyko Amos and Aude Legastelois-Bidé are exiting the series, Joséphine Jobert is set to return to Death In Paradise for its upcoming tenth season. Jobert played Detective Sergeant Florence Cassell for four seasons before exiting during the show's eighth season. 
Death In Paradise is losing two main cast members. Shyko Amos and Aude Legastelois-Bidé are exiting BBC One's Caribbean-set murder mystery series ahead of its tenth season. ITV has cancelled the adaptation of Jane Austen's unfinished novel after a single season, TVWise has confirmed. The cancellation comes mere weeks before the series is set to premiere state-side on PBS.

Death In Paradise has found its new DI. Ralf Little (The Cafe, The A Word) has been set as the new lead in BBC One's Caribbean-set crime drama. He replaces Ardal O'Hanlon who is poised to exit the series in its upcoming ninth season. Little will play Detective Inspector Neville Parker, who is reluctantly dispatched to the fictional island of Saint Marie to investigate the suspicious death of a woman from his home city, Manchester. 
The BBC and Red Planet Pictures have released an image teasing the new lead actor who will replace Ardal O'Hanlon as the new Detective Inspector on Death In Paradise. Sandition tells the story of the joyously impulsive, spirited and unconventional Charlotte Heywood and her spiky relationship with the humorous, charming Sidney Parker. When a chance accident transports her from her rural hometown of Willingden to the would-be coastal resort of the eponymous title, it exposes Charlotte to the intrigues and dalliances of a seaside town on the make, and the characters whose fortunes depend on its commercial success.
