BBC Two has secured the UK rights to the just-commissioned third season of Vienna Blood, TVWise has learned. The third season was commissioned by Austrian broadcaster ORF and Germany's ZDF. Production begins next month. 
Channel 5 has inked a deal with international distributor Red Arrow Studios International to acquire the Archie Panjabi and Christopher Plummer fronted drama series Departure. The broadcaster will make the series available on 5Star and their streaming service My5. 
Maigret is returning to television. Colin Callender's Playground has teamed with Red Arrow Studios International and Georges Simenon Limited to develop an English language adaptation of Simenon's Jules Maigret series of novels. The project is envisioned as a returning series.

Movies 24 - the movie channel operated by NBCUniversal International Networks - has acquired Hallmark's All Of My Heart: The Wedding and Lifetime's A Twist Of Christmas after striking a deal with international distributor Red Arrow Studios International. 
Red Arrow Studios International has secured the global distribution rights to The Weekly, FX's upcoming 30 episode New York Times documentary series. Hulu is also a partner, streaming episodes in the United States the day after they air on FX. Red Arrow Studios International will launch The Weekly to international buyers at MIPCOM next month.
