Parade Inks Deal With Omnifilm For Latin America
Parade Media has inked a strategic content partnership agreement with Canadian production company Omnifilm Entertainment that will see the UK distributor help expand Omnifilm's presence in Latin America. Parade will represent Latin American rights to key Factual Entertainment programmes from Omnifilm’s library as well as its forthcoming line-up. Said titles include Ice Pilots, Jade Fever, Wild Bear Rescue, The Dolphin Dealer, Cannabiz, Pyros, Shimmy and Namaste Yoga. 
Parade Media is adding to their ranks. The company has hired Mediaworks' former Director of Programming Mark Caulton to serve as their Chief Content Officer. “Matt’s done a terrific job growing Parade, and I’m really excited to join the team and help take the business to the next level”, Mark Caulton said in a statement.
UKTV Eden channel has boarded Australian documentary series Outback Vet after striking a deal with international distributor Parade Media. The deal was negotiated by UKTV’s Acquisitions Manager Charlie Charalambous and Parade Media’s CEO Matthew Ashcroft.
Parade Media has lined up a slew of international sales for a range of their lifestyle and factual programmes. The deals span Central and Eastern Europe, Asia Pacific & Latin America.
UKTV has teamed with Australian broadcaster Foxtel and Parade Media for a new ten episode Jack Stein fronted food series, titled Jack Stein: Inside The Box. The series will air on the UKTV owned and operated Good Food channel.
