Sky Vision Sells ‘André Rieu: Welcome to My World’ To U.S. Network Ovation
André Rieu is crossing the Atlantic. Sky Vision has sold the exclusive U.S. broadcast rights to Sky Arts' ten part series André Rieu: Welcome To My World to U.S. arts network Ovation TV. 
Ovation is stocking up on factual content. The arts focused cable network has acquired a raft of factual programmes after striking a deal with London based international distributor TVF International, TVWise has learned.
Ovation has promoted long-time executive Lori Hall to the position of Vice President, Program Planning, Scheduling and Acquisitions. In her new role, Hall will assume responsibility for program acquisitions for the arts focussed cable network. She will also continue to be responsible for program scheduling. Hall will continue to report to Scott Woodward, Executive Vice-President of Programming and Productions for Ovation.
Portrait Artist Of The Year is heading to the United States. Arts focused cable network Ovation has secured the U.S. broadcast rights to the Sky Arts series after striking a deal with international distributor Zodiak Rights, TVWise has learned. Ovation's deal with Zodiak covers the first two seasons of the show.
Arts focussed network Ovation has acquired the US broadcast right to the daytime home makeover series after agreeing a deal with ITV's sister company ITV Studios Global Entertainment, TVWise has learned. The package covers some 40 episodes of the series, which will premiere on Ovation on Tuesday March 10th.
Ovation hit a distribution milestone this year and is now available in some 52 million homes; and the network's year-to-date prime time household ratings jumped 32% compared to last year. The Arts focused network be debuting the eighth season of 'Murdoch Mysteries' (known as 'The Artful Detective' on Ovation) on Saturday February 21st at 7/6c.
