Netflix has renewed comic book adaptation The Umbrella Academy for a second season. The pick up, which is for a further ten episodes, comes more than six weeks after the first season was released on the global streaming service. 
ITV is adding to the cast of Marcella. Hugo Speer (The Musketeers, Britannia, The Full Monty) and Amanda Burton (Waterloo Road, Silent Witness) have joined the cast of the Anna Friel fronted drama for season three. Speer's promotion to series regular comes after he made a brief appearance in the season two finale. 
Netflix is has handed out an eight episode series order to The Stranger, an adaptation of the Harlan Coben novel of the same name. Berlin Station star Richard Armitage is attached to star. “I could barely contain my excitement reading Harlan Coben’s The Stranger; a nail biting thriller with a huge beating heart and a dash of social commentary for extra bite", Armitage said. "I’m thrilled to be returning to work with Nicola Schindler and the brilliant creative team she has assembled.” 
Tony Danza's TV return turned out be rather short-lived. Netflix has cancelled their comedy-drama series The Good Cop, starring the former Taxi star, after a single season. The show's first (and now only) ten episode season launched globally on Netflix back in September. 
Netflix has renewed their animated comedy series Paradise P.D. for a second season. The renewal announcement was made earlier today on the show's social media feeds. 
Netflix has handed out a third season renewal to their original drama series Ozark. The streaming service has ordered ten episodes for the show's third season, which is set to premiere in 2019. 
After serving as an executive producer on F Is For Family for the past two seasons, Vince Vaughn is set to lend his voice to a character on the series for its upcoming third season.
