Netflix has acquired the rights to the 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' book series by Lemony Snicket (the pen name of Daniel Handler), with plans to adapt it into a new television series aimed at a family audience. Netflix has handed a series order to 'F Is For Family', a six episode animated comedy from Bill Burr and Emmy award winner Michael Price. Netflix has partnered with CityTV and Canadian SVOD service Shomi for Between, a six episode survivalist thriller series which hails from Murdoch Mysteries helmer Michael McGowan and has iCarly's Jennette McCurdy attached to star. 
Netflix has released the key art for the third season of Norwegian drama series Lilyhammer, which is set to premiere on the streaming service in the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Latin America, Denmark and the Netherlands on Friday November 21st.
