The CW's Riverdale will return to Netflix UK to finish airing its second season from Thursday January 18th, it has been announced. New episodes will then continue to be made available every Thursday, less than 24 hours after they initially air state-side on The CW.

Netflix UK Acquisitions Spree: Streaming Service Picks Up ‘Black Lightning’, ‘Outsiders’, ‘Underground’ & More

Netflix UK has gone on an acquisitions spree. The streaming service has confirmed reports that they have picked up The CW's newest drama series Black Lightning and have also announced a whole slew of new acquisitions. On the exclusive front, Netflix UK has also picked up the complete series runs of WGN America's drama series Outsiders, about an off-the-grid Appalachian clan; and Underground, which tells the true story of the underground railroad in the United States during the nineteenth century.
