The latest season of Doc Martin is heading to Australia. International distributor DRG has licensed the show's ninth season, which just recently started airing the UK on ITV, to the ABC. Additionally, they have also sold the fifth season of ITV2's Plebs to the ABC in Australia and Comedy Central in New Zealand.

DRG has lined up a slew of international deal for food series My Swedish Kitchen. The international distributor has struck deals for the Rachel Khoo fronted series with NHK in Japan, RTL in Germany, AMC in Central and Eastern Europe, SBS in Australia, Choice TV in New Zealand, CBC in Canada, and with BBC Studios for its pan-Asia footprint.

Ahead of the show's premiere on BBC Two tonight, DRG has lined up a slew of international sales for Remarkable Places To Eat. The international distributor has sold the six episode series to SBS in Australia, DR TV in Denmark, VTM in Belgium, RTL in Luxembourg and the Netherlands, and P & P Permissions and Rights covering Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia.

International distributor DRG has struck a volume deal with Viacom's Spike channel in the Netherlands. The deal will see some 196 hours of programming from British producers air on the channel in the coming months. The deal gives Spike rights to six seasons of Inside The Ambulance, forty-five hours of Helicopter ER, twenty hours of Trauma Rescue Squad, the most recent two seasons of The Dog Rescuers, and four seasons of The Yorkshire Vet.

DRG has acquired international distribution rights to three new factual titles from leading Australian factual producer WildBear Entertainment after striking a deal with Wild Thring Media. The three titles covered by this deal are A Royal Tour Of The 20th Century, Titans Of The 20th Century, and Jungle War.

No More Boys And Girls is getting a Spanish remake. DRG has closed a format deal with Banijay’s Dlo/Magnolia, who will produce a five-part series for Movistar+. This marks the second format sale after DRG previously set up a German version with ZDF.

National Geographic has struck a deal with international distributor DRG for natural history series Predator Land. The three-parter will air on their global Nat Geo Wild channels. The deal was brokered by DRG’s Senior Vice-President of North and South America Scott Kirkpatrick and National Geographic’s Manager, of Global Acquisitions Lauren Billingsley.
