Amazon Prime Video has closed a deal with NBCUniversal International Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Taken, NBC's ten episode drama series which is a prequel to the Liam Neeson feature film franchise of the same name, TVWise has learned. 
USA Network's Falling Water has found a UK home. The show's ten episode first season will be available to stream for UK Prime members next month.

In a deal with sister company NBCUniversal International Distribution, Syfy UK has snapped up the first run rights to Hunters - the short-lived drama series from The Walking Dead executive producer Gale Anne Hurd. The series will premiere on Syfy UK on Wednesday August 31st at 9pm. 
The Mindy Project has lost its UK broadcaster. E4, who originally acquired the Fox turned Hulu comedy in 2012 in a multi-season deal with international distributor NBCUniversal International Distribution, has opted not to pick up the any further seasons of the Mindy Kaling fronted series, TVWise has confirmed. The channel aired the first three seasons between 2013 and 2015. 
Mr. Robot has secured a second UK broadcaster. Universal Channel has acquired the linear broadcast rights to the USA Network hacker drama in a deal with sister company NBCUniversal Television Distribution, TVWise has learned. The ten episode first season of Mr Robot will debut on Universal Channel on Thursday July 21st at 9pm, with a feature-length episode.
