Resident Alien is crossing the pond. Sky One has acquired the UK rights to the Syfy original series after striking a deal with international distributor NBCUniversal Global Distribution. The series will premiere on the channel on Thursday January 28th at 9pm. 
Transplant is crossing the pond. Sky Witness has secured the UK rights to the Canadian medical drama series after striking a deal with international distributor NBCUniversal Global Distribution. The series will premiere on Tuesday December 15th at 9pm. 
Another one-and-done is crossing the pond. UKTV's Alibi has secured the UK rights to the short-lived USA Network drama series Briarpatch after striking a deal with international distributor NBCUniversal Global Distribution. The series is expected to air on Alibi in 2021. 
Channel 4 has acquired the UK rights to Fox's upcoming animated comedy series Duncanville. The series is distributed internationally by NBCUniversal International Distribution. It will initially air on Channel 4 later this year, and will also get a repeat run on E4. 
Fresh off of losing Chicago PD to Sky Witness, 5USA has added a new first run U.S. acquisition to their slate. Channel 5's digi-net has acquired the UK rights to NBC's short-lived spy thriller The Enemy Within after striking a deal with NBCUniversal International Distribution. The series is expected to premiere in early 2020. 
Chicago PD is switching broadcasters here in the UK. Sky Witness has secured the UK rights to the Chicago Fire spin-off, after the previous six seasons all aired on Channel 5's digi-net 5USA. The show's seventh season will receive its UK premiere on Sky Witness on Friday January 3rd at 10pm.
