Chicago Med (Pilot)NBC is kicking things off a little early this year by handing out the first three series orders ahead of the Upfronts in a little over a week. The three projects to get the nod at the peacock are: Blind Spot from Arrow & The Flash executive producer Greg Berlanti; medical drama Heartbreaker; and Chicago Med, the latest entry in Dick Wolf's Chicago franchise, which already includes Chicago Fire and Chicago PD

NBC Reverses Course, Plots Return To ‘Emerald City’ With David Schulner

Close to a year after they initially cancelled the project, NBC has once again picked up Wizard Of Oz themed drama Emerald City with a ten episode straight-to-series order. David Schulner replaces original scribe Josh Friedman as executive producer & showrunner and will pen the scripts alongside Matt Arnold.

Dann Florek Plots ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ Return

Dann Florek - SVUA fan favourite is (temporarily) returning to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Dann Florek, who played Don Cragen across fifteen seasons of SVU (not to mention three seasons of the original Law & Order), is reportedly returning to the veteran procedural to reprise his role in an upcoming episode of the show's sixteenth season.

Masi Oka To Reprise ‘Heroes’ Role In NBC’s Limited Series Follow Up ‘Heroes Reborn’

Masi OkaNBC is bringing back another original cast member of Heroes for their 13 episode limited series follow up Heroes Reborn. Masi Oka, who played Hiro Nakamura on the original NBC series, is set to reprise the his role in a handful of episodes of Heroes: Reborn in what NBC has characterised as a guest-starring arc. He is the second original cast member that NBC is bringing back for the limited series. Jack Coleman was previously announced to be reprising his role as Noah Bennett.
