MTV UK has ordered new dating show Love Squad. The series has received an order for thirty episodes. Love Squad tasks groups of friends to take control of a single friend’s love life, in an attempt to try and find them the perfect match. In each episode, an unlucky in love dater will hand over the reins to their friends and family – The Love Squad – to try and find the perfect match in one night. 
MTV UK has given the greenlight to Reggie Yates Vs The World, an eight episode documentary series following Yates as he tackles big issues facing young people around the world today, by experiencing them first-hand. In each episode, Reggie will take on a new subject, immersing himself into extreme and unusual situations with topical relevance for young people. Through his experience of gruelling environments and challenging encounters, Reggie will be pushed to his absolute limits, giving him a new perspective on these issues. MTV International has renewed hit reality gameshow True Love Or True Lies for a second season. Twelve episodes have been ordered for the show's second season, which will air on MTV's network of international channels in more than 180 countries later this year. MTV is turning to royalty for their next reality series. The VIMN backed channel has given the greenlight to The Royal World, a six episode series that will offer an inside look at the lives of young royals and aristocrats from around the globe as their worlds collide in a British countryside mansion. MTV UK is getting in on the AFP game. The Viacom backed broadcaster has teamed with Strongbow to commission Re-Freshers Week, a university themed competitive reality series that will transport participants back to the glory days of being a fresher. MTV UK has renewed their local adaptation of the Teen Mom format, Teen Mom UK, for a second season, TVWise has learned. Eight episodes have been ordered for the show's second season, which is expected to air on the channel later this year. 
Viacom International Media Networks UK are restructuring the programming management teams for both MTV UK and Comedy Central UK. Louise Holmes, who has been serving as VP of Programming for Comedy Central UK since 2013, has been named Vice-President of Linear and Multi-Platform Programming and will lead a new "combined creative" team, with responsibility for both MTV UK and Comedy Central UK. She will report directly to Jill Offman, Managing Director of Comedy Central UK and MTV UK. 
Comedy series Faking It will return to MTV UK to finish airing its second season from Tuesday September 8th at 9:30pm, it has been announced.
