WGN America has released the first trailer for the second season of their atomic bomb drama Manhattan, which is set to premiere on the Tribune owned cable network on Tuesday October 13th at 9/8c. The new trailer, which runs a little over a minute, offers the first glimpses of William Petersen as Colonel Emmett Darrow, who, when asked who he is by suspected spy Dr Frank Winter (John Benjamin Hinkley), simply responds "the United States Of America". Also confirmed by this trailer: Neve Campbell has joined the cast as Kitty, Oppenheimer's wife; and The West Wing vet Richard Schiff is reprising his season one role as spy catcher Mr Fisher.
WGN America has set a launch date for Manhattan's sophomore season. The second season of the atomic bomb drama will premiere on Tuesday October 13th at 9/8c, the network announced on Wednesday.
William Petersen is returning to television. The former CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star has joined the cast of WGN America's period drama Manhattan as a series regular for it 13 episode second season. The series, which hails from Sam Shaw, Thomas Schlamme, Lionsgate Television, Skydance Television and Tribune Studios, is set to enter production on its second season this April in New Mexico for a later 2015 premiere.
