‘Endeavour’ Season 7 Order Set At 3 Episodes, ITV Renews ‘Morse’ Prequel For Season 8

ITV has confirmed that the episode order for Endeavour season seven is three episodes - down slightly from the four episodes that have comprised almost all prior seasons. Filming on season seven is now underway in and around Oxford ahead of a 2020 premiere. Additionally, despite rumours that the show was nearing its end, ITV has already renewed Endeavour for an eighth season to air in 2021.

The BBC has found their Charles Sobhraj. Tahar Rahim, who recently starred as FBI Special Agent Ali Soufan in Hulu's The Looming Tower, has signed on to play Sobhraj in the BBC One's eight episode limited series The Serpent. Netflix has also boarded as co-producer and will serves as the show's broadcaster outside of the UK.
