Jenna Coleman (Victoria, Doctor Who), Billy Howle (MotherFatherSon, Dunkirk) and Ellie Bamber (Les Misérables, Nocturnal Animals) have signed on to star opposite Tahar Rahim (The Looming Tower) in BBC One's eight episode Charles Sobhraj limited series. Netflix is co-producing and will serve as the global broadcaster.

BBC One has released the trailer for WWII drama World On Fire, which is set to premiere later this year. World On Fire explores the first year of World War II as told through the intertwining fates of ordinary people drawn from Britain, Poland, France, Germany and the United States as they grapple with the effect of the war on their everyday lives.

ITV has confirmed that the episode order for Endeavour season seven is three episodes - down slightly from the four episodes that have comprised almost all prior seasons. Filming on season seven is now underway in and around Oxford ahead of a 2020 premiere. Additionally, despite rumours that the show was nearing its end, ITV has already renewed Endeavour for an eighth season to air in 2021.

EXCLUSIVE: The reign of Victoria will continue. I'm hearing that ITV is in active conversations with series producer Mammoth Screen about a formal fourth season renewal. Series star Jenna Coleman was recently on Graham Norton's radio show, where she revealed that the show would take a bit of a break before moving forward.Word has it that Coleman will be pursuing other projects between seasons three and four.

ITV has handed out a series order to Invisible, a feature-length detective drama series starring Jason Watkins (The Crown, The Lost Honour Of Christopher Jefferies) and Tala Gouveia (Cold Feet). Two episodes have been ordered for the show's first season.

The BBC has found their Charles Sobhraj. Tahar Rahim, who recently starred as FBI Special Agent Ali Soufan in Hulu's The Looming Tower, has signed on to play Sobhraj in the BBC One's eight episode limited series The Serpent. Netflix has also boarded as co-producer and will serves as the show's broadcaster outside of the UK.
