Lucifer has found a second UK home. FOX UK has secured the linear broadcast rights to the DC Comics show starring Tom Ellis after striking a deal with international distributor Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.

Fox's DC drama Lucifer is getting a full run in its second season. The network has handed out a back nine order to the show, bringing the total number of episodes ordered for season two to twenty-two. Lucifer will return to the UK with its second season on Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday September 20th, less than 24 hours after it airs on Fox in the United States, it has been announced. 
Fox is continuing their recent spree of series green-lights.The network, who yesterday picked up three new comedies (The Grinder, The Guide To Surviving Life and Grandfathered) and an hour-long drama (Rosewood), has handed out series orders to three of their most high-profile drama pilots: Frankenstein, from Homeland EP Howard Gordon; the DC Comics adaptation Lucifer; and Paramount TV's Minority Report sequel.
