The fifth season of the A&E turned Netflix western crime drama Longmire - which has previously aired on TCM UK - will premiere on 5USA on Friday September 15th at 9pm, it has been announced.

Longmire - Season 3Longmire is riding off into the sunset. Netflix has picked up the western crime drama for a sixth and final season, the streaming service announced on Wednesday. 10 episodes have been ordered for the final season, matching the orders for both of the previous Netflix seasons.

A little over a month after the fourth season of Longmire was released on Netflix in the Unites States, the streaming service has picked up the Robert Taylor fronted drama for a fifth season. The renewal, which is expected to be for ten episodes, was first announced on the official Longmire Facebook page.

TCM UK Pushes Back ‘Longmire’ Season 4 By Two Weeks, Extends Time-Slot To 90 Minutes

The new season of Longmire will be premiering in the UK a little later than expected. UK broadcaster TCM UK has pushed back the launch of the fourth season by some two weeks and instead of launching in early November as previously announced, the new 10 episode run will now debut on Sunday November 15th. Additionally, the time slot for the show has been extended to 90 minutes, with new episodes airing on Sunday nights from 7:30pm - 9pm.
