Feature film reboot Limitless has been effectively cancelled at CBS, though that may not be the end of the road for the series as CBS Television Studios is shopping it to other networks in hopes of securing a second season pick up elsewhere.

CBS' top rated new series is getting a full season pick-up. The network has handed out a traditional back-nine order to Limitless, their hour long drama series from sister studio CBS Television Studios which is a follow-up to the hit feature film of the same name starring Bradley Cooper.

Sky Living has closed separate deals with CBS Studios International and Disney Media Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Limitless and The Catch, respectively. Additionally, after months of rumours, the Sky owned channel has also confirmed TVWise's scoop that they have acquired the NBC thriller Blindspot from WBITD.

CBS is following up on its early pick up for Supergirl by handing out series orders to two comedies (Angel From Hell and Life In Pieces) and four dramas (Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Limitless, Rush Hour and Code Black).

CBS has handed out pilot orders to drama Limitless, a follow up to the Bradley Cooper fronted feature film of the same name; Angel From Hell, a comedy from Tad Quill; and an as-yet untitled comedy from Dan O'Shannon, TVWise has learned.
