Worzel Gummidge is returning to the BBC. BBC One has commissioned three more episodes of the series that hails from and stars Mackenzie Crook. The three episodes - titled Guy Forks, Twitchers, and Calliope Jane - are set to air later this year. 
Netflix UK has ordered Hard Cell, a six episode prison comedy that hails from Catherine Tate (Nan, The Catherine Tate Show) and Leopard Pictures. Filming is now underway, ahead of a 2022 premiere. 
Worzel Gummidge is returning to the Beeb. BBC One has ordered a further episode of the Mackenzie Crook fronted series to air later this year. It follows on from last year's the two-part series that aired as part of BBC One's Christmas schedule. 
The Snow Spider is coming to television. CBBC and BBC Wales have co-commissioned a five part adaptation of Jenny Nimmo’s trilogy of novels from indie Leopard Pictures. The series will air on both CBBC and BBC Wales in 2020. The Snow Spider nine year old Gwyn Griffiths on a mystical journey of discovery. The series opens with Gwyn Griffiths gloomily awaiting the day of his ninth birthday, an occasion marred once again by the reminder of his missing sister Bethan, who disappeared four years earlier. Little does he know his life is about to be changed forever. BBC One has set the cast for Worzel Gummidge. Zoë Wanamaker (Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone), Sir Michael Palin (Monty Python), Vicki Pepperdine (The Windsors), Steve Pemberton (Benidorm), Rosie Cavaliero (Gentleman Jack), India Brown (Hetty Feather) and newcomer Thierry Wickens are set to star opposite Mackenzie Crook (The Pirates Of The Caribbean) in the two-part adaptation of the books by Barbara Euphan Todd. 
BBC One has ordered Mimi And The Mountain Dragon, a twenty-five minute 2D animated adaptation of Sir Michael Morpurgo’s children’s book. The one-off will air this Christmas and was commissioned as part of BBC One's season on literature.
