Sky One’s ‘Strike Back’ Adds Jamie Bamber For Season 7

Jamie Bamber (The Smoke, Battlestar Galactica) is joining the cast of the Sky One and Cinemax co-production Strike Back for its upcoming seventh season. Bamber will play Colonel Alexander Coltrane, the new commanding officer of Section 20. Also joining the cast this season is Yasemin Allen (Water And Fire), who will play Katrina Zarkova - a rogue Russian operative with questionable loyalties. The join returning cast members Warren Brown (Luther), Daniel MacPherson (The Shannara Chronicles) and Alin Sumarwata (Neighbours).

Sky1 Bringing Back ‘Strike Back’ For Sixth Season

Some three years after announcing that the show's fifth season would be its last, Sky1 and co-production partner Cinemax have revealed that they are bringing back Strike Back for a sixth season.

Left Bank Pictures To Produce English Language Drama For China’s CITVC

Left Bank Pictures - the indie behind Outlander, Strike Back and Netflix's upcoming Queen Elizabeth II drama The Crown - is set to produce an English language drama series for the Chinese market after signing a co-development deal with China International Television Corporation (CITVC).
