BBC One Orders Three-Part ‘Gunpowder’ Plot Drama From ‘Game Of Thrones’ Star Kit Harrington
Months after word of the project first leaked, BBC One has officially given a green-light to a three-part gunpowder plot drama which was co-created by and will star Game Of Thrones alum Kit Harrington. Production is set to get underway later this month for a late 2017 premiere. 

ITV's hit period drama Grantchester is going festive this year. The commercial broadcaster has ordered a one-off 90 minute Christmas special. That is in addition to the previously announced six episode third season, which will air in 2017.
Sky Atlantic is adding to the cast of western drama Tin Star. Canadian actor Christopher Heyerdahl has boarded the ten-part drama series in a supporting role opposite Tim Roth and Christina Hendricks, TVWise has learned. He will play Louis Gagnon, who forms an uneasy alliance with the oil company's corporate liaison Mrs Bradshaw (Hendricks), and together they are suspected of having hired the assassins to thwart Jim's (Roth) discovery of a shocking cover-up
AMC has signed on to co-produce 'Humans', Channel 4's English language adaptation of the Scandinavian sci-fi series 'Real Humans'.
