Syfy has released the trailer and key art for the second season of their Superman prequel Krypton, which is set to premiere state-side on Wednesday June 12th at 10/9c. E4, who continue to hold rights to the series on this side of the pond, have not yet set a UK premiere date for season two.

E4 is adding a superhero series to their line-up. Channel 4's youth-skewing digi-net has secured the exclusive UK rights to Syfy's Superman prequel series Krypton after striking a deal with international distributor Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.

Georgina Campbell - One Of UsGeorgina Campbell, who is currently starring in BBC One's four-part drama One Of Us (pictured, right), has been tapped to play the female lead in Syfy's Superman prequel pilot Krypton. She will play Lyta Zod, a member of Krypton’s military caste and the daughter of General Alura Zod. Lyta is a cadet in the caste and has been having a secret, forbidden romance with the as-yet uncast Seg-El.
