History UK has acquired the UK rights to Knightfall, the period drama about the Knights Templar which is being produced for the U.S. History network. History has locked down the core cast for Knightfall. After testing the waters with scripted series Vikings (currently airing its third season) and a slew of miniseries that has included Hatfields & McCoys, Sons Of Liberty and the upcoming Texas Rising, History has put into development Knightfall – an hour-long series about the Knights Templar.
