FOX UK Drops Australian Drama ‘Jack Irish’

EXCLUSIVE: It seems it's the end of the road for Jack Irish here in the UK. FOX UK has dropped the Australian drama after airing the TV movies and the first season of the TV series, both of which starred Guy Pearce. A representative of the channel confirmed to TVWise that they don't have any plans to air the second season.

FOX UK is sticking with Jack Irish. The Fox International Channels backed broadcaster has closed a deal with DCD Rights to acquire the first full season of Jack Irish, which was commissioned by Australian public broadcaster ABC with a six episode order late last year.

FOX UK has acquired the UK broadcast rights to 'John Sandford's Certain Prey', a one-off TV movie fronted by 'NCIS' star Mark Harmon; and 'Dead Point', the third entry in the series of 'Jack Irish' TV movies starring Guy Pearce.
