Relative newcomer Pearl Chanda, whose only other television credit is a brief guest appearance on BBC One's Holby City, has joined the cast of ITV's three-part Arthur Conan Doyle drama 'Arthur & George', which is based on the novel of the same name by Julian Barnes 
ITV has handed a 10 episode series order to Jekyll & Hyde, a new "modern day" take on the famous story which hails from novelist Charlie Higson and ITV Studios, TVWise has learned. 
ITV's three-part Arthur Conan Doyle drama 'Arthur & George' has added 'Shetland' alum Geraldine Alexander to its cast. She will play Louise Hawkins, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's first wife, whose death leads the legendary writer into a deep depression. 
ITV has renewed ratings hit 'Downton Abbey' for a sixth season.
